Anyone read this book? When it first came out it was like 120 bucks, but I just saw its down to $9.99. Just curious if any of you have read it and if its worth the time/money to pick it up for a Full Ring player.

Is that the SplitSuit book? Haven't read it but he's a pretty good teacher so for $10 it's almost certainly a no-brainer. BTW you play 10nl on Merge?

Yeah, that's the SplitSuit book. I had heard he was a great teacher, really focused on the fundamentals, but some had argued that he wasn't really a big winner so I just wanted to get some thoughts if anyone had read it. The $10 is a no brainer, its more my time I'm wondering if its worth considering I think its a 300 or 400 page book.

Yeah, I'm on merge 10NL right now, I used to play mostly NL100 and take shots at NL200 FR from time to time. Was a small winner at NL100 over 500K hands or so, but a small loser at NL200 over a much smaller sample size, so I never really made the breakthrough I was looking for back then. Was away from poker for a while and just getting back into it very recently, deposited on Lock Poker and Bovada and am just trying to grind up a roll at NL10 and some small buy in tournies. Been running good in tournies with 4 final tables in 300+ runner tournies since Wednesday but I'm definitely a little rusty at cash games, was up 7 buy ins and lost it all back in 2 days. What's your screen name so I know to stay away from you. ;)

My screen name isn't public but you were on a handful of my tables last night and I play a laggy style for FR so you can probably figure it out from that.

My screen name isn't public ....

Hmmm... afraid of being pwned by the nits IMO:eek: . Anyway, using my awesome detective skills, I've narrowed the list down to a few possibilities...

Pretty certain it's one of these:
Nit4Life
Fightin'IrishFan
ShortStackGod

Yeah, that's the ticket. Must be one of those:D .

**sighs** No love for my last post? Thought some of those potential screen-names were pretty funny since we're talking WVH here. Oh well, failed troll, I guess. **shrugs shoulders** Maybe next time.

Lol I'm actually just reading them now but joking about being a ND fan is just going WAY too far.

BTW brought this book for my kindle. At $10 it seems like a steal.

I actually saw this on Amazon while searching for something else. Had to double-check the current price v. its original price. Absolutely seems like a no-brainer at this price. So much reading to do......

Split Suit is an excellent coach and poker player. Haven't read the entire book but the pieces I've read have a lot of good info and are very easy to understand. Getting it for $10 in my opinion is stealing from the author.

But isn't "Dynamic" and "Full Ring Poker" a contradiction in terms?

:hello:
