well I felt that I was starting to get the hang of multi tabling cash games, but as it turns out... I am doing not as well as i had hoped.

The beginning was a complete down fall.... I Was buying in full and losing badly. Lost the whole 1st roll that I had. (60 at the time, i did donk it towards the end)
I did some more studying... and saw all the mistakes i was making and started working on them...

Afterwards i deposited again on carbon and ran Quite Well for my 1st few sessions.

But after 10k hands I seem to be only break even. And now would like to know if its normal varience hitting me, or if I am playing badly and need to fine tune some more.

Here she is the graph xD dont be gentle.

Bar the first 500 hands the graph is pointing the right way. Did you make any changes? What limit are you playing at? From nearly minus $60 to $30 in 9k hands doesn't seem too bad but it depends on the limits you're playing at.

Ah right Should probably mention that :p

Playing 4NL short stacked ( no 2nl to play )
- play at carbon
- i multi table
- I made drastic changes to my game and my plays for more optimal 6Max NLH games. Studyed some videos, watched some books. you know things you do to get better. :) I feel i did get better, but still think I could be doing even better!

So you lost $60 at 4nl in 500 hands??? Unpossible!

So even if I am under rolled for buying in for full amounts. I should still do it anyways?

And i have been complaining all the same, however, I have not aloud it to effect my game as much. Quite a change in me if I do say so myself.

Yeah I think you should buy-in for 100BB, even if you aren't properly rolled for it.

Breaking even is a good start, I assume you have rakeback too?

What stakes were you playing at the beginning when you lost all the $$s??

No rake back, Carbon does not offer it anymore :( they have VIP program, each teir gives a low % of rake back for whatever tier you are in. blady blady blah blah. ITs some, but not a ton.

And really? I should be buying in full? I guess less tables then.... I was finally p to 18 tables.... however I was short stacked. So I guess that didnt do me well.

At least I had auto top off, on, lol

I was playing 4NL 4 tables, I had lost 3 big hands back 2 back to back. And got pissed... so I donked the rest of my money at 25nl ( i remember now :( )

This was dumb, I was almost sick of poker, but I re grouped and had my AH hA moment when I started watching some videos on HU poker, and it lead me to look into 6max and sure enough I decided, lets do this differently, my way is not working.

So I studied up, watched more vids, took into account what I was messing up on, actually use my HUD properly, went over my donk hands and asked why i did what i did. ext ext. Then deposited again.

Then 2 weeks later ( yesterday ) i win a 1k free roll XD XD go figure!

You just won $300 on BCP. Use that for your roll and stop worrying about having the BIs you need. And yeah playing 25nl with less than $50 seems like a bad plan. Take that out and you're basically BE.

Number of tables was going to be my other question, 18 tables of 6max is crazy, I tried 20 tables @ 2NL stacking them all up...it was really hard to keep up with it, and I was timing out on tables quite frequently. Even if you can keep up with it you aren't really playing poker because you can't make observations/notes on other players when its that fast.

I think it could help you to play 4-6 tables, buy in full, observe your opponents properly, take more time over your decisions.

Good luck

What I'm saying is that it's all one roll. It's money that you have to play poker. If you lose the $$ on Carbon you either put more on from the $$s you won on BCP or move your play to BCP either way.

When I started on FTP I had $500 online. $300 on bodog and $200 on FTP. I started at 25nl on FTP with the thought that if I needed to I'd pull the $$s from Bodog to FTP. Don't segregate your BRs.

That's a good idea imo, don't move up stakes just because you binked a tourney. Wait till you can beat 4NL before thinking of moving up to 10NL.

Others may tell you differently but if you aren't beating 4NL you wont beat 10NL or 25NL, and your roll will be gone quickly

Oh yeah and you have no business playing more than 6 tables. You're barely breaking even playing 4nl so you have tons of work to do before you should start considering playing more than that.

Yeah your bankroll is money for poker. Even if you had money in your bank account that is set aside for playing poker it would be considered part of your bankroll, so of course across different sites it is.

You seem to be break even so far which is a start. Drop some tables, play 2-4 at most, post hands you struggle with, start crushing and move up.

I've played 16 tables of 6max before at 2nl and felt comfortable and was my standard but you aren't improving. Now I play 4-6 tables 10nl. I play better with 4, my redline generally breaks even, I see spots better and I'm improving.

Buying in full was a disaster. I lost everything I grinded bein short stacked. I am back to 50$... Wow. Full stack was sure a great way to go. Thanks for the advice. Last time I do that. full BI means full loss for me I guess..... lol so sick. lost it all in 500 hands.

I made 2 bad plays that I can definently say I felt ahead was behind, the rest just suck outs and lost the max. Short stacked I lose the minimum. Hmm.... Going to stick to short stacking since it was working. :)

I mean it would be a lot of them if you lost that much.
I mean suck outs happen, but you seem to think a awefull lot happen to you post some of the hands and lets see if there's any thing you could have done differently or if you played perfect/
