I currently trying to build this bankroll for $80 up to whatever I can. Also learning cash games as I go coming from a sit n go background. So I started in May and haven't played loads of volume but have moved form 2nl to 5nl 6max and my backroll is around $170 it was at a high of $184 today but after a what seems to me a run of badbeats and maybe some sub optimal play I am around $169.

Now first thing I accept I have leaks in my game but overall I feel I play ok and am improving all the time, but days like to day where I have drop 5 buy ins in a session it just feels like one step forward two steps back at the moment.

Some of the hands that have caused the downfall.

A few of these are just bad runs, no big deal. It happens.

The one that caught my eye was the last hand in which you flopped a flush draw. Chasing draws when the pot odds aren't there is very unprofitable in the long run unless you believe you can pull off a steal if you miss. It requires a lot of discipline to fold a flush draw, especially if you are card dead or running bad, but it's something you need to do if you aren't getting the right odds.

Didn't feel it was the worst call in this spot as we had a player to follow who could come along giving us better odds and the villain was a reg who loved to barrel 3/4 pot with an ace and a good kicker. As it turned out they didn't slow down on the turn(granted they picked up equity) and if the river was a blank I'm pretty confident they bet 3/4 pot again.
