I was in a tournament today and saw someone raise preflop with aces. But after the flop they bet about the same amount 3 times and lost to a flush on the river. The guy was complaining how his AA was beat by 105 suited and how the other guy played a bad hand. Well I don't know about you, but if it were me, the 105 guy would have either folded, or had to pay all his chips to see it through once the flop came.

Anyway the guy who had AA said the right play was to slowplay AA. ????????????????????????

I almost never slowplay that or any other high pocket pair. As the saying goes, better to win a little pot then to lose a big one. So very simple, if you have Aces, USE THEM!!! ;)

how much was the raise?

the guy with the Aces should have figured the person just calling was on some sort of draw. a flush should've been noticable.

Look at my Aces thread...I go on a huge rant about how Aces should be played and why some people are ridiculous when they play them.
