Just wondering how players deal with the minraise in 2NL?
Had a player last night using it for every bet, obvisouly an extremely bad player but i saw him min raise on two occasions with the nuts?
How do we play against such a player without paying him off in 2c intervals?

tighten up and make him pay to play. I am sure there is a more +EV move out there, but this is what seems to work for me.

u gotta love those players. they dont even know how much money they are costing themselves by not betting enough. best way to adjust is play passive vs them with marginal hands, and obviously get aggro when u have the goods.

Some times cheap bets arre trickier than it looks.

Cheap bets have 3 faces, one is a trap and min raise with the nuts to induce you raise over or make you call because is cheap (so they don´t want to make you fold if raise more but not limp because not want multiple people there) , other face is that they also min raise with weak hands that not want to spend more but still want to play, like sc or low pp that if not hit big gona trow on flop so they play those cheap, the third one is to min bet with trash from LP to steal and if you wake up with a hand and fight they still can let go cheap but because is mixed with his stronger range is always tricky.

And this is pre, postflop on donk bets usually means the same, or bet min if are on a draw and want to see the next card for cheap, or want to bet small because have a good hand but not great, or because have the nuts and want to induce you go over or because have air and just want to see if can make you fold .

Lot of people manage min bets like checks, so punish raising more (3betting), problem is the times when you face they stronger range, if you 3b and come over you can let go, but if 3b and they flat still could be a stronger range slowplayed or lower pp/sc that could hit big so is gona be tricky no matter what.

Postflop can play like above sugest. play passive and looking for draws cheap and punish when have the nuts.
