Ok am a bit pissed off ... it’s my first loss and I would like to know what u guys think...so 1/2 live casino game FR 10 players I am on the BU with pocket 7’s and ...everyone limps and I raise to 12eu ...SB BB folds UTG folds UTG+1 calls they all fold and the CO raises to 36eu...I snap call and the UTG+1 calls also ...

Hero 7s7h 640eu stack
UTG+1 580eu
CO 600eu

Pot 124eu

Flop 4h 5d 6h
UTG+1 checks
CO checks
Hero bets 90eu
UTG+1 calls
CO goes All in
Hero snap calls
UTG calls also

Turn 9d
River 7c

UTG+1 shows ThAh
CO shows Qh8h
Hero shows 7h7s

CO wins the pot with straight to 9

What do you think? I think my play was not bad and I think CO did a massive donk play.

Hi. You didn't give any information on how the other people in the hand were playing so it's a little hard to really evaluate. The CO limp/3bet pre then check raised all in on the flop, you called with a (small) overpair and a open-ender. What did you think he had? Had the CO been bluff shoving a lot?

I was sure both were chasing a flush draw ... CO is a LAG and UTG+1 recreational player

So CO thinks your BTN raise is just a steal attempt and he 3-bets as a re-steal. CO is probably surprised at UTG+1 call but was not surprised by yours. CO can now range you as medPP/AK/AQ as you'd probably 4-bet with QQ/KK/AA. CO can range UTG+1 as 22-TT, suited broadways, maybe suited Ace. On the flop, CO hits a FD+gutter+2overs and since it is all lowcards he probably expects you to bet with an overpair and since he has 2 hearts he wouldn't be expecting UTG+1 or you to have hearts along with him. So given what he knows CO could figure that he may have a statistical edge against you. CO waits for you to bet and check raises you. Yeah it is a fairly large overbet but CO could be thinking 'I'd be fine with winning what's in the pot now' if you fold your probable overpair.

This exactly what happened and what CO tried to do...he was trying to take the pot with a semi bluf ...I do think my play was good though

I think the flop lead is too big, because it encourages a push, which forces you to call off.
Don't create a massive pot when you are this deep with a drawing hand against 30% of villains range.
Prefer 30 bet OTF, then possibly push on blank turn cards, or bet 40 on turn.
