Do you think its good or bad to constantly check your bankroll as you play?

Any thoughts on this? I find myself wanting to check my bankroll every five minutes..

Its very bad, it makes you tilt easier and you become more result orientated. My advise is to try to avoid doing it.

honestly i do this all the time but maybe because it doesn't tilt me too much. If I notice i'm losing too much money then I try to play smarter and tighten up a bit or I quit playing. When I'm winning a lot I get to pat myself on the back and get an ice cream(i wish)

Bad, but I'm often guilty of doing it. Sometimes, after winning a big pot, I can't help but open the cashier and beam at the progress my bankroll has made, but I know it's a silly thing to do. I know I'm not fully non-results oriented until I've curbed this inclination.

As long it doesn't change the way your playing then it is not a problem. However generally people are affected by it that is why everyone says not to do it.

Honestly, I struggle with this one. I know that I shouldn't look but sometimes I do. I have tried to play for a week at a time without looking at my cashier. The longest that I have actually gone is 3 days. Usually I look before and after a session.

i never look during a session at all because all it does is tilt me. No good can come out of it for me because if i'm making the most profitable play thats all that really matters to me
