do you like AK or QQ more

Hey, just wanted which hand other people thought was best in this matchup!

I like QQ personally, you will always have a pair, you are slightly favored mathematically, and you can flop a huge hand with a set or quads more often.

AK is a drawing hand imo, what are other's thoughts?

i think i prefer QQ vs ak QQ in my eyes is better because it beats ace king unless A or K come

I prefer QQ. Of course vs AK it's like coinflip but we are not talking about spot QQ vs AK but overall which hand is better. In my opinion QQ has a huge advance. First of all QQ is only beaten by aces and kings preflop. AK vs 22 is not even a favourite. 48 % to 52%. For example QQ vs 22 is 81% to 19 %. Also QQ is much easier to play it postflop. On many flops QQ is still the best hand. If Ace or Kings come then you have much easier decisions to make with QQ than when you miss the board with AK. Even their equity vs each other is 56% to 44% what we call coinflip but you see a huge difference between them if we talk about postflop. With AK you mostly have to hit a good board to win a hand and many times you won't even see a turn or river. QQ is a made hand and most of the time you are still good postflop. so QQ > AK

I prefer QQ as well. Shoot, pair of 2s has better odds than AK.

I like AK a little more than AQ. But whenever I make the power bet with them, opponent has 22, or 55 and makes trips after no Ace K or Queen shows on the board. Just on a bad streak. A_ pockets are magnets for numbered boards when I play. Hope you have better luck than me with A_

Ladies are better, because they beat small pairs, such as 99-22, with which players often go all-in.
While, AK against them is less than 50%

I like QQ more, because on preflop I already have a ready pair - QQ (55%) vs AK (45%).

and both hands are hard to fold and then you need luck to win but really the chances are bigger for QQ
