One of the things I'm admittedly weak on and need to improve is determining the villain's range. But here's a couple of examples that really have me puzzled.

Same table:

Villain 1 - 163 hands on HUD - VP 64, PFR 41
Villain 2 - 70 hands - VP 61, PFR 34

They're basically in every hand (one or the other, at times both) and raising every opportunity. I'm staying at the table to try to figure it out, but being very careful of the hands I get involved in: med pairs and bigger, big suited As, suited Broadway and obviously monsters.

Many have suggested I need to open my range more to adapt to players like this. To what??? Every hand for the most part is raised and lesser hands to get into the pot with I would consider junk.

Suggestions?

villians range

if the first villian is 61/41 look at the two ranges using ace poker solutions equity tool.
Then take one from the other to see his limping range. Limping most small suited connectors and suited one gappers.
If he limps you can raise strongly especially with pairs 88+
I had a very similar session to this yesterday which i posted in the polished poker thread. You have to play rope a dope and let them try to bluff you off hands. My villian last night just basically raised whenever I just checked and called, as soon as I raised he just folded.
If you know the limping range just avoid c betting those 679tJ flops which are smack in his range.:)
