Even though edges are much smaller and variance is higher I feel much more comfortable playing a <40BB stack and I think I play much more better than say, when I'm playing regular or deep games for obvious reasons. From the cap games I've played on FTP this year, the errors people make in the SS poker seems much much clearer for me to identify than say a 100bb game, so I feel quite comfortable in that sense yet when in 100bb+ games, I'm still torn on quite a few decisions so with that I'm just going to try put out a decent amount of hands this month in this format alongside my MTT's.
I just simply can't win consistently enough at 25nl, or haven't put in enough volume or study to warrant playing those stakes. All my study and work has gone into a shallow poker game as opposed to the deep and probably 90% or more of my winnings have always come from a short stack form of poker of some kind, which I think now is beginning to sink in that maybe I'm just suited more towards those sort of game types so should just stick to what I think is going to be more +ev for me.
