dealing with donk bets?

how do you deal with donk bets.... assuming no reads.
does it depend on the flop?
donk bets are understandable on a very wet board right?
i normally just put in a smallish raise and the majority of the time they insta fold.


also; when is it good to lead into the pfr. Never? Occasionally to balance out your play?
