This database analysis is from my own sample of my most recent 100k sample at 50nl, the database is split between FR and 6max so overall and positional stats may be skewed. Therefore I haven't focused too much on positional or overall stats such as vpip/pfr or raise first in as they may not be applicable.

The filters and reports I wont explain in too much detail how to do them as google is your friend. This analysis is for me to highlight what I need to do to improve and if you can copy the filters and apply to your own game or take away anything from them cool! You should be looking at your overall positional reports as well as overview.

Overview

Here the most common stats (vpip/pfr, aggression etc) are pretty self explanatory and there is enough material on the internet for you to look at for your own game. What I want to highlight from this is a few stats which I was introduced to recently.

W$SD - Looks pretty good, anything above 50 is good. If it isnt you are probably making too many light calls.

WWSF - too low, this is one of the biggest leaks and probably most common for regs at small stakes. This in my opinion correlates to playing too many 6max tables which I can see later on in the analysis.
A bit about WWSF as its mentioned heavily.

<40% WWSF = I will give up whenever they show aggression until further reads
40-45% WWSF = these are what weak-tight regulars can run at (and even good regulars over small samples) and just fire once and give up
45-50% WWSF = pretty standard decent tag, double barrels somewhat, won't fire the 3rd one often
50-55% WWSF = super aggro regs/aggro fish, barrels a lot of equity, and triple barrels air sometimes
55%+ = never folding a half decent hand to them cause they're probably a huge aggro fish (no one really runs 55%+ WWSF over a decent sample. if they did they'd go busto/be exploited so fast)

WTSD - pretty much bang on, 20 will be too low and 30 means you are calling too many rivers.

CO and BTN UO - these are pretty good, CO maybe abit too high at 29 and may get exploited at 100 by better regs.

Fringe Hand Review

Here just select the hand from holdem cards and look at various stats.

AQ - you should review this to see if you are playing it too passively or too aggro, checking WWSF, WTSD etc

JJ - here I find I could be 3betting it more vs people who are 4betting as I am playing it abit passively postflop

99 + TT - playing these far too straight forward from MP and BTN, this is indicated by WWSF of 39 and 37. Either I am not playing these aggressively enough for thin value or not turning them into bluffs often enough to get people off weak 2nd pairs etc.

All In Preflop Filter
Just to check you are winning, sounds stupid but these are the biggest pots you will play and need to check if you are maybe getting it in too light. Select all holdem cards and then deselect AA and then AA and KK.
I found that I am getting it in too light in EP and MP with AK as I am losing money, flatting will be a better line or even folding to some 3bettors.

Cold Call vs 3bet
here you should select the hand, then compare winrates of cold calling to 3betting by positions. your results may differ from mine as you may have a different postflop style.

KQs - playing far too passively when cold calling from CO and BTN, shown by the WWSF of 33 means I am playing too straightforward. However when 3betting I am making a decent clip so this is a consideration.

AQs - playing again far too passively when flatting OTB with a WWSF of 25! However I am losing money when 3betting from MP and CO. Therefore I should be making more moves with AQ and 3betting it more OTB.

AJs - Cold calling the trend continues that my WWSF is far too low, although I am playing better with it OTB. I therefore should be looking at 3betting it more from CO and flatting OTB as my winrate when 3betting is decent.

JQs - pretty lol again here for me, i am playing extremely passively when flatting blinds and my WWSF are very very very low at 12 and 28!! However I am doing ok when flatting the BTN but a far bit better when 3betting CO and blinds.

KJs - losing when cold calling MP, CO and BTN and winning when 3betting CO and MP. I am winning with KJs in blinds but from the trend this just could be run good or I am picking better spots to play back at regs with this hand.

JTs - Hardly any 3bet samples but losing every position when I am cold calling. This stays in line with the low WWSF so I could experiment with 3betting this hand more.

overall I can see the trend that I am winning with these hands when 3betting them and losing when cold calling. However I am not going to snap 3bet them every time as it will turn into a leak, I need to be picking villians to play back at more postflop but also 3betting them in correct spots either for value or as a bluff. One way I can improve the blinds WWSF here is donking which I do not do enough, donking hands with backdoor draws or overs etc!

22 - 55 - same filter with small pairs, here I have better winrates when 3betting out of the blinds, even when I am seeing a flop as my WWSF is above 50 . However flatting them in position is doing better as blinds seem to be weaker players when I call.

Flatting 3bets Without Premiums
Here the flatting 3bet filter is used and deselect AA - QQ and AK. Significant to note that my BTN winrate is negative here which combined with a 38 WWSF shows I am not making enough moves when flatting. I should be bluff raising and floating more in spots or just 4betting/folding pre. Finally I can see from my WTSD of 39 that I am just calling down in too many spots with marginal hands.

3betting without premiums
same filter above but instead using the 3bet instead of call 3bet. This shows I am 3betting too light from the button and my bluff range is too heavy. This trend also occurs in BB which shows I am not picking on the right villians, either 3bet bluffing incorrect villians or making moves without reads.

Cold Call vs 3bet with AK
Same filter used as above but this time comparing lines with AK. My results show I should be 3betting BTN and blinds but be flatting more from CO and MP. However when I am flatting I should be playing more aggressively as my WWSF is low, playing back at people as bluffs with blockers to big hands is something I need to exploit.

Postflop Filters

Cold Call
just select all hands and enter the cold call filter, here you should be checking your WWSF and winrates by positions.
From my database I can see my BB winrate is way lower than other positions at 22bb/100, this could be due to completing too much multiway with junk just because "I have a good price". Add in the low WWSF which means I am losing money here OOP. This could also be related to the big suited broadways OOP and playing too passively.

Other postflop filters you can check to see how you are doing and adjust based on results

  • Cold Call + Raise Flop Cbets
  • Calling Turn Cbets
  • Raising Turn Cbets
  • Donking flops
  • Raising flops after calling 3bets
  • Check/Call Rivers

Miscellaneous

# of players

Heres my winrates for players at the table

- 2 = 12.95bb
3 = -13.68bb
4 = -8.36bb
5 = 0.59
6 = 7.32bb
7+ = 5.55bb

2 - 5 players = -1.85bb
3 - 5 players = -2.60bb

The number of players here relates to the multi tabling report for me, I am playing too many tables when playing 6max which is showing when the table reduces that I am getting crushed.

Times of day - optimal times I can see from this are between 8-10 and 5-6, should not play before 3pm or after 1am.

Multi table report - If you have HEM 2 look at this report to show optimal tables, for me 4 or 5 tables max when I am playing 6max!

this may seem abit bitty but hopefully you can get something out of it aswell as for my future reference !

Really like the way you've gone through and analysed this. Will be applying this to my game later in the week. Cheers.

I just glanced at your word spew, but it sounds like you're playing too fit/fold with the suited connector hands. WWSF of 12% is just crazy low.
