Just took 28 out of 1077 in "Big Buck" on Paradise. Was 9th of 29 at the time I got screwed again. Lost when I hit my straight on the turn then he hit fullhouse on the river. It was like he knew, he had 126k in chips, I had 68K and he called me all in after the turn. Bah...:motz:

Chips decrease in value in a tournament as your stack gets bigger. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and with out the exact hand and progression it would be hard to tell, but he may have been right to table those chips.

Well that's friggin' Paradise for you! Last time I played Big Buck I survived for hour and 40 minutes, got done 4 straight times on the river, and didn't get anything better than A9 all tournement!

Bill's right, depending what the blinds were and what was already in the pot, he probably didn't make a bad call. You just got unlucky. Oh well, keep fighting.

There was just a post by Bill on this subject, to which I replied. Like he said, for every X number of chips you gain, their actual value decreases, thus altering pot and implied odds. He-assuming he is a skilled player- may very well have made the right call in that particular situation. You did catch an unfortunate sting on that one though.
