I have been at so many online tables where everyone is calling and folding fast then when ever I bet everyone takes their full time or almost full time? then everyone folds except 1 player ... It has happened to me at 2cent 5cent and at 20.00 sit n go double or nothing. At pokerstars

Thanks for your time...

I've never seen anything like that - it seems normal most of the time.

Maybe they are trying to frustrate you by messing with your head.

LOL

I will look to make good money in a casino here in los angeles . To little info and to many aggressive people with the software to play aggainst in cash games here online :(

You may be seeing people using the check boxes to indicate their actions before their turn (i.e., click "fold" before it's my turn). Then it seems like it takes forever for someone to act once you bet, cuz they're actually thinking instead of just clicking buttons.

fwiw, this is a really bad habit to get into for anyone serious about playing online. It telegraphs some information about situations and how the player is reacting to those situations.

I dont know if you read what I said all the way through but what I am saying is

That they will play fast for many hands that I am not in for along time and soon as i play a hand they all take the full time out and fold from player to player until one of them calls immediatley. This would happen every time I came into a hand and whe nI wasnt in a hand they all would call or fold within a few seconds ... pleasse sly i would love to hear from you if you seen this because I know you are playing alot ..

Also sly I went over my bakroll management and played a 67 dollar sit n go and won :) but then the other night I drank some beer and was watching poker on tv and I went to the computer signed into pokerstars and went on the 1$ 2 $ cash game and lost more than a dozen hands in a row and lost all most everything I won :( I lost with trip 4s against trip 8s , I lost with high stright againdst flush , lost full house to other full house, every hand I was in I got a good hand and was called down to loose ... You know I know what my mistake was and because of that i dont feel to bad but I hope to play more conservative with big hands :( I dont know i am kinda depressed about everything i did ...

Yeah, I did get that from your post, but I haven't seen that unless my table image is really weird for some reason (what I mean is, most regs see me as a relatively straightforward player I think, and if I suddenly get super laggy (which happens on occasion) or super tight (which again happens on occasion), I know it confuses them and I will see some of them take their time making decisions, almost certainly checking my stats. But the reason it confuses them is because they have so many hands on me that say I shouldn't be acting the way I'm acting, I do the same thing when a reg is acting out of character - if you're not a volume player, this wouldn't apply I wouldn't think). I was hoping the checkboxes might explain what you're seeing, but sounds like not. The instacall at the end is prob from a guy who decided as soon as he saw his hand what he was going to do.

Sorry to hear about your bad run, hope it turns around soon.

Where do you play in LA?

I'm in Iraq now, but when I'm home I play at the Bike. Have played at Commerce and Hawaiian Gardens. I've sworn off the Gardens, even though it's closest to where I stay (their buy-ins don't make sense), and I haven't been to the commerce in years... Last time I tried to get there I drove around East LA confused as hell... Despite living in East LA...

Do they have a lot of good casino's in Iraq?

But seriously, I may be deploying in August and was curious about restrictions for online poker and whatnot.

hahaha... I posted on another thread how the buy inns at the casinos here are so low 60.00 max at 1$ 2$ table and I said why so low when Online for 1$1 $2 is way way higher.. And someone told me they never heard of that kinda buy in at a casino in los angeles county..

But you and I both know that hawaiian gardens is the one that has those weird low buy inns !!! your right it doesn't make sense! I play at san manuel in sanbernardino and I play at morongo..

I played at the bike , hustler and others . But I am living in rancho cucamonga right now but I may move back to long beach by next year . keep intouch and maybe I can invite you to some home sit n gos next time your in long beach area . Im tony , if you have a facebook page let me know..

Thanks sly , I think it was great to learn how it would feel to play fulltime when I was playing everyday . I have to be honest with myself even if I had the bankroll and i could keep playing good poker I dont think I ever would want to play fulltime . Im going to stick with the plan to play mtt's and hope to win some satellites and reguliar ones and build my bankroll like that online just on my kick back days and play more live tourneys and home sit n go's . then I have vegas to go have fun in the cash games on the weekends with tourists :) I will be happy with that. What do you think?

maybe that one guy is away for that moment haha. joking joking. i really think its ur table image. they see u as a shark. a shark means u play strong hands or maybe suited connectors. so when u do get in the pot, they will have to reconsider calling because they are up against a strong hand. maybe that one guy so happens to have a strong hands as well. thus taking him almost the full time
