Hey guys,

I've been wondering, if it's worth buying leak buster or take a coach ?

leakbuster is 60$, and coach is like 50$/hour, and it's worth taking minimum 3 hours I think.

So 60$ vs 150$.

Not sure what to do, is leak buster helpful, to fix my leaks from blinds, 3betting and so on ? I'm hard worker, I just need something to put me on a road, and show me my leaks, and I could analyze why it isn't working and so on.

My game is 10NL FR btw.

I'd just go and get leak buster. Leak buster is once off and it uses statistics from the rest of your hands to find out where you are at. If you get a coach, they aren't necessarily going to point out all the things that leak buster does because as we all know, humans are forgetful. You also only need to apply the basics here which Leak Buster does fine. Fancy moves just aren't the way to go in 10NL. Make sure also you have Holdem Manager, because you need the hands from Holdem Manager to put into Leak Buster which will then analyse the hands.

Leak buster all the way you shouldn't even be debating coaching until at the very least 100nl. Leak buster will always come in handy where as a coach won't. Also coaches vary from person to person, so what he may be able to teach greatly to one person, may end up making the next person worse.

You guys have leak buster ? I have leaks in my blinds. Does leak buster able to say which hands aren't profitable to flat against steals, which hands I should be 3betting or folding and so on ?

I have HEM2, and LB trial isn't great to test out those specific things.

Yes, it's going to tell you all of that. There's a specific step where it compares flatting vs 3-betting, calling 3-bet vs 4-betting. Most importantly it's going to simplify everything for you so you can focus on specific areas of your game and not spend hours trying to poker through your own database.

But if you have specific questions ask, since I designed over 90% of the no-limit version. :)

And my honest opinion on coaching at 10nl or leak buster is leak buster by a mile. Once you get your game solid and winning long term, coaching + leak buster is a deadly combo. And I'm not saying that because of my involvement w/ LB. It's just going to save you time and money over coaching because you could spend $150+ and have a bad coach and you'll be right back where you started. If you have a great coach, you're still going to get more value out of LB w/ a smaller investment.

Is money refund possible for Leak-buster, in case I won't like the program ? Maybe there is some discount/promo going on with LB ?

Yeah there's 14 days. We've had 2 refund requests in 4+ years. There's never been a discount/promo on leak buster.

If you're really that unsure, honestly, don't get it. Just mho.

I understand... but if you're debating between spending 150$ or 60$, it seems like the easier decision unless it just completely sucks of course... which it doesn't. :)

I haven't tried either, but imo Leak Buster is the way to go. Especially at 10NL.

I've used Leakbuster quite a bit, and can say it has been a big help. It kind of prepared me for getting some coaching. i had spent alot of time with it, and we didn't have to spend so much time and $ going over some of the more obvious leaks i had, and were able to move on to more important issues and fine tuning the things i needed help on. i would definitely recommend coaching at some point, but this is a nice compliment to it.

Yeah the intention with Leak Buster is to give a guide for players who are still learning the game, and make it a useful tool for more experienced players. It takes a ton of time to wade through your database, run filters, check important areas of your game. Leak Buster makes it really simple with one click. I'm continuing to add more features, and there will be some more surprises going into LB 4 post release. I couldn't get everything in that I wanted.

It's my honest opinion that if you're playing 25nl or below, you'll get more long term value with leak buster than with coaching. Now if you can afford it, doing both is ideal. A GOOD coach can show you things about in game dynamics and reads that leak buster cannot. But as far as most of the foundational and important parts of your game, leak buster will get you on the right track if you're willing to put the work in. It's not going to magically make you a better player. You'll have to study, and work on it, but it tries to make that process as easy and as straight forward as possible.

What if I buy Leak buster and decide 6months later I need a new pc? Would I need to repurchase or use the same key?
