Hero bets $23.10 (All-In), CO calls $22.03 (All-In)

Total pot: $65.16 | Rake: $3

Results below:
Hero had 8
spade.gif
, 8
heart.gif
(straight flush, Jack high). - In my defense, I was actually ahead the whole time :p
CO had A
spade.gif
, K
club.gif
(flush, Ace high).
Outcome: Hero won $62.16

I think there will be loads of these since all the fish are playing, preferably drunk. This one was positive but I can imagine the carnage that is due to ensue. So lets share!

This is separate from Thread of Shame since that one is for spewing.

Nice hand LD, i can imagine how he felt when he saw 8s... he was probably calling and praying not to see it, or he was so sure that he have the nuts...

I just put it in calculator and you were right, you were 55% fav, i just cant figure out how, you have 4 tens as outs and a lot of backdors but i just cant calculate it right...

Good point about holidays and spewing drunk money around the table, today was a really fishy day at PKR :D

I have a made hand and he has 6 overcard outs and 7 flush outs.

That is normally around 52% equity but I have redraw vs. overcard outs with all T, 8 and redraw vs flush with the 1 SF out.

I have this guy marked as a fish but this one is not his fault (even though I have SF/full house here most of the time when I shove), kind of hard to fold the nut flush.

I know your not asking for analysis.... But don't you think the x/ min raise gives away the strength of your hand on the turn? I mean shouldn't you like repop to five? My personal preference is that min raises in general are a big no no other than in HU or short handed. Especially since you check/min raised. Idk.... I just think its weak

Depends on how well you know me... these are holidays, lots of unknown fish on the tables and I am:
1) giving great odds to any Broadway flush chaser that hit the turn (do fish fold Ks/Qs here? I don't think so).
2) making it so river shove is around pot sized
3) inducing reraises
4) I should be getting calls from 2P/sets too, just in case they hit the FH - except I have them in the bag already

I was really surprised that UTG actually folded the turn.

Haven't played much volume recently... But are players this time of year actually so bad that your getting value from two pair on the turn? Like I can't picture myself ever getting my min re raise called by two pair on this turn

They are worse than you can possibly imagine, even worse than normal weekends.

- I just got 3bet from the BB by Q5s which managed to hit the flush 'cause why not :D
- People are not giving up with any pair.
- They limp 3bet and limp shove, meaning 2NL level players are coming to 25NL en masse.
- My AK just got raised on the flop by A3 (TPWK) since hey, top pair!1!!111!1
- There are people playing 100/6 (!!! not kidding)

+ all the usual fish stuff

That being said, of course I am down 2+ buyins since midnight, hey fish deserve to have a happy Christmas right

I had this exact hand and board run out last night at 10nl actually it was diamonds instead of spades and I think river didn't pair. Also I took a different line where I check raised all in on river getting villain to value bet/call a non nut flush

Wow... Just wow. Limps in pre with AJ misses flop... Calls a pot bet with ace high.... Then hits the ace on the turn and proceeds to just call down to river.

It's weird... Since he calls flop, an ace is his dream card, with that being said... Why isn't he raising? I understand raising here would normally fold out all the air in your range and he would only get called by better.... But there is no chance this guy has a higher than level 1 thinking path, so why doesn't he raise? I can't figure it out. LOL. ;)

OFFTOPIC (This is not a cooler ofc but just a continuation of the "how freaking bad these people are" conversation, plus it is funny.)

We might as well include the funny stuff here, although coolers are still welcome!

Fun never stops! Guess his hand before opening the spoiler.

SB ($25)
BB ($20.78)
UTG ($31.11)
MP1 ($21.71)
MP2 ($31.46)
CO ($23.57)
Hero (Button) ($25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A
club.gif
, K
heart.gif

3 folds, CO raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.75, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.85) A
heart.gif
, J
heart.gif
, 9
heart.gif
(2 players)
CO bets $1.25, Hero raises to $5.60 (I am just hitting the pot button, who gives a **** about sizing, right?), CO calls $4.35

Turn: ($13.05) 6
club.gif
(2 players)
CO checks, Hero checks (Not like I have FE here anyways).

River: ($13.05) J
diamond.gif
(2 players)
CO bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50 - I am kind of saving money vs a J that just coolered me/full houses etc. Dunno, don't ask me anything

Total pot: $24.05 | Rake: $1.20

Results below:
Hero had A
club.gif
, K
heart.gif
(two pair, Aces and Jacks).
CO had Q
spade.gif
, 10
diamond.gif
(one pair, Jacks). - This man has no fear! Zero ****s given.
Outcome: Hero won $22.85

Another entry for the WTF/cooler series.

CO ($12.91)

SB ($51.12)
BB ($27.30)
UTG ($24.42)
UTG+1 ($29.69)
MP1 ($28.40)
MP2 ($17.25)
Hero (MP3) ($25)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A

heart.gif

1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.60, CO calls $2.60, 1 fold, SB calls $2.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($8.80) 5

Turn: ($63.91) 9
diamond.gif
(3 players, 3 all-in)

River: ($63.91) K
club.gif
(3 players, 3 all-in)

Total pot: $63.91 | Rake: $3

Results below:
SB had Q
diamond.gif
, Q
spade.gif
(one pair, Queens). - Otherwise excellent reg that got caught by the fish shove, normally not that easy to trick. He has to count this as a cooler.
Hero had A
spade.gif
, A
heart.gif
(one pair, Aces).
CO had 4
diamond.gif
, 2
heart.gif
(high card, King). - WTF???? Flop shove is actually correct though :D if he won THAT would be a typical holiday cooler for 2 regs, rare and coveted doublekill!
Outcome: Hero won $60.91
