I was thinking about how poker evolves and how people tend to fall into a game or 2, especially younger people who often prefer to specialize in a game.

I made a video playing some 6 card PLO and a heads up NLHE SNG, just to get a taste of a few different games. Let me know if you guys have any feedback, and if you play one game, or more than one game, and how you think it affects your profits!

Hello.
Personally I think the poker texas holdem (speaking only in this mode)
holdem is so complex that if jugas while others affect the evolution and improvement of the game each. I find it best to pursue a single branch of poker and learn and study best.
eg play holdem and omaha only professional players can, for a serious amateur play entertaining or wasting time.

I think full ring NL Hold 'em cash games are the best and the most popular because they involve the most skill.

However, I agree many other games can contain more fish especially if they are unaware of all of the rules. I occasionally play the odd PLO game, which is refreshing at times, but it also contains a lot more variance.

Your best game is the one where you can sit down and play ton of volume and not tilt.

Skill is something that can be learned and applied but psychology is much harder thing to control even if you know what you are doing is wrong. Thats why its better to choose a game based on psychology rather than skill.
