What would you say are the biggest differences between NL2 and NL5. What changes can a microgrinder expect to see as they transition through NL2 > NL5 > NL10 > N25 > NL50 and Higher? What changes did you have to make in your strategy as you moved up?

Ability to read and change play according to that read.
as you go up, post flop is more and more subtle and complex.

Biggest difference between 2NL and 5NL is that after you clear 5NL you can beat 2NL with your non dominant hand (if your head is up to the task :D). So I would agree with Joye and add that every decision is just more honed in 5NL. The biggest change I had to make was to learn pot control with my value hands and start folding much more pre because implied odds were so much less and attack with bluffs IF the moment is right (nothing crazy but oh so difficult). I can't say anything about 10NL because I have failed there (once in regular, twice in zoom).

There is very little (or perhaps no) difference between 2NL and 25NL online. These are all micro stakes and play about the same.

Here is blackrains take for it: https://www.blackrain79.com/2016/03/moving-from-nl2-to-nl5-what-to-expect.html

His word: "Huge Relative Skill Difference" between 2NL and 5NL. So don't worry about those who say the levels are same, you will get those many to this topic too. They just probably have not played there more than every now and then. Or they are not just very bright.

I understand what he is saying but one thing that he doesn't cover is that at very low levels, if you don't value the stakes, you won't play your A game.

It's like reverse tilt.

For me, anything under 25NL just isn't worth the time spent on it.

I have to feel some pressure to play my A game.

I agree. The more you move up the more difficult it is and less chances you have.
