Hi. I've been getting hammered. I want that to stop so I'm going to the casino tonight. I'll say how I did after I'm done.

I bought in for 100 and made it to 250. I had J 10 and flipped a straight 9-k, 2 clubs. Someone missed a flush but someone ended up getting a full house so that wrecked it. I had Kings and ran into Aces. Anyways I won some, I lost some them I buster out so No. Not successful

Sounds like bad runouts in the spots you described. Look for other spots that are less bad beat situations and more marginal and make some extra cash there, and run better next time.

When were you planning on quitting? That would be my first question. You were up to 250.00. You are going to take some bad beats. I've run 100.00 up to 5 -6 and lost it all with an "unbeatable" hand. It happens all the time. Maybe make a better game plan.

Your first mistake was not leaving when you were already up 150$. You should always meet a quota and stick with it. 100$? maybe to start with. Once you learn how to win smaller amounts, you'll begin to program yourself to win bigger amounts, meaning like 120 or to 150$. It's all about balancing yourself.

J 10 and flipped a straight 9-K, 2 clubs???? HUH? All in on a gut-shot or what?

Coin flip players will always be one thing and one thing only. BREAK EVEN PLAYERS OR LOSING PLAYERS. Always! may as well go play roulette where your odds are 46% chance to win.

KK vs AA is rough plain and simple.

I agree there, when we're you planning on quitting?? To win 3-10 times your buy in, you have to play good poker and catch good hands that stand up. If you can't do both of those, up 250 seems like a good time to leave.
