This is a discussion on cash games strategy within the online poker forums, in the Cash Games section; hello, everyone just wants to ask anyone about cash games 1-2 nl holdem strategy, how many buy-ins you have to do before you stop for
that really depends on your bankroll and how you are losing your money. If you start raging its best just to quit for the day take some rest and try again later. Sometimes there could just be a very good player and switching tables might do the thing for you.

Some people have a stop loss rule, where you make a rule for yourself that if you lose (or win) a certain amount, you'll quit. I used to have one when I played online, since losing (or gaining) 5-10 times your monthly rent in a night will mess up your head. It's a good idea.
The hardest part about playing poker for significant sums of money is emotional control. The Poker Mindset is a good read. It talks a lot about dealing with stress, getting in the right frame of mind to make good decisions, and is applicable to more than just poker.

re: Poker & cash games strategy
If you get in on a good table with fish, you play til you fall asleep sitting up.
any other situation, you play til you are making good reads or decisions anymore, everyone has their own clock.

I watched a video of Daniel Negreanu on youtube, I can not remember the name to search the link, in which he talked about it exactly.
In the video in question he spoke of a person who obtained good results regularly, but when he lost he ended up getting out of control and in the end, however much he had won most days, he ended up in the negative.
One justification for what happened was that when the player was able to earn a fair value in the session he was content and leave, but when he was losing, he could not identify that it was time to stop and insisted on playing try to get out of the negative, so that he did on tilt and ended up losing a lot more than he should.
The form that is said to be ideal for controlling the cash game sessions is to establish a period with which you will play, for example, if you have decided that you will play for 2 hours, after that time you should quit the game, whether it is in profit or not , and make a loss control, realized that nothing is beating, that no matter how you try, the best thing to do is take time to rest, stop playing, no use insisting and playing with tilt, countless factors may be related to the reason you're losing, either because the table only has very good players, or because it's not your day.
Another good tip is that when you start losing a lot of hands in a row but still making a profit, you can close your session earlier to avoid getting out of your way.

you should consider two aspects ... how big is your bankroll and how much money are you willing to spend per day ... now if you are losing too fast ... the best thing is that you take a break and try later. ..
