I just started playing some live cash games, 1 dollar 2 dollar. Its been exciting cause I have been winning most of the time. I'm a guy who goes on tilt every now and then so I decided that live cash games might be better because I would only bring 1 buying with me to the poker room. If I am to loose the buyin, then I would be forced to not play any more poker. I know there is an option in the online pokerrooms to restrict yourself but live cash games seem to work better for me in the sense that I can also get a better read on my players. Do any of you guys have any tips with respect to live cash games?

Get up from the table if your going on tilt, way easier to say then do. I would just say watch their betting patterns and how they bet certain boards, and if they talk alot during a hand take mental notes on what they show up with. Sometimes even how players put the chips in can be a tell, really I think personal experience you will come to find many of these things out yourself. As you play more hands, it is so easy to zone out when your not involved, try not to do this, but at some point it will be next to impossible. That being said you may have played 1000s of hands with these villains, so you feel like you know their game well enough.

The truth is I have not played live and I can not help but any advice on what I read if I can give. One of the advantages of playing live is that powerful read online thing your opponent can not (actually yes, but is more difficult). I hope I have helped!
