Hey guys, is anyone else stuck in the micros and want to move up to the next step already?? If so let's help each other out! We can discuss hands and situations and figure out the best decisions to make when playing. This way we don't have to stress out as much and we can all start building up our bankroll! :)

P.S. Anyone in the higher stakes are more than welcome in this thread! :) :beerglass

Alright I will get this started. What is some of your opinions of stealing blinds in a micro stakes game?

I'll be reading this thread. Don't have much to say at this time. I just started at microstakes cash games. So, it'll be a learning experience.

Don't.

It's not worth it in the long run to steal .10 or .15.

I agree with one of the above posts, trying to steal blinds at limits i play 2/4nl is pointless, maybe on the really tight table with small average pot and low percentage of players involved in pot... But on the other hand, why would you play in such table...

also agree that there is microcrushers tread but it is probably easier for beginners and new members to post here. Im in :)

If you're playing against a nit with a high fold to steal, go for it.

its so simple..... just play a tight game... and wait for your right cards to come then play your true aggressive game.......... always remember in poker saving money is as like winning money so dont run after the cards just wait for your right cards to come

Oh and to anyone who is really new and hasn't placed any money in their bankroll yet I suggest 888 Poker it has alot more fish than the more popular poker rooms.

Yes, Tight-Agressive is important but when stealing it's not like it has to be with a crappy hand, maybe a hand like 8-7 for example? Although in the long run I have a feeling that stealing blinds from fish will eventually end with losing more money than winning.

Agree!
No sense of small stakes to steal blinds
Play only strong hands that will double your stack and increase your bankroll.
