I'm new to heads up displays but I'm learning a bit about how to apply my opponents' stats to my strategy at the tables. I currently run the default PT4 HUD with VP, PR, 3B, CB, BB and FCB stats shown. If any of you cash game grinders can give me some input on what stats are the most important to have in my setup I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

I'm a rather new player and play at 2NL. In addition to what you listed, I also include aggression factor, fold to steal, and I break out c-bet stats for each street.

I keep my HUD pretty straight forward.

Name/#hands
VPIP/PFR/Tot3B/Fold3B
ATS/FBBSteal/A.F/C.B/FCB

I also have them colour coded for different ranges

If I need anything else I can expand the HUD (I use HM2)

Thanks for the input. I haven't figured out a good way to color code my setup yet but I'm going to play with the colors tomorrow..

Yeah I use the colours to just give give me a quick visual indicator, for example if villian is opening 5% its red as in beware, 15% is amber, 25% green (example cant remember exact number)... just gives me a quick idea of calling/3betting range and also post flop play when multitabling without having to look too hard if that makes sense.

Fold to turn c-bet stat as well. Sometimes you have to throw a 2nd or 3rd barrel.

Don't forget float IP stats: float to C-bet, float in 3 bet pot IP and etc.

The more advanced techniques includes floating PFR and floating 3 bets.

I also like checking stats to see how often someone raises C-bets or donks (leads out in betting).

HUD stands for head-up display. To put it in a pratical way, it displays statistics on how your opponent plays on your screen, like how aggressive he is, how many percentage of hands he plays, how much he calls preflop, etc. The HUD helps you figure out what kind of player he is( TAG, LAG, fish,...) and adjust optimally to his play. You can see how useful this can be if you know how to use it. :)

I'm going to put some links if you didn't fully understand the concept.

wikipedia (general concept of the HUD): https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_up_display

You're welcome. Expanding as you go is a good plan. A lot of the stats are going to require a larger number of hands to be valuable anyhow, so it'll make a lot of sense to add later.

Yeah C-bet flop & turn stats are good to know too.

If someone has a high C-bet flop and low C-bet turn. You could possibly float them with any two cards if they fold to float turn bet a lot.

I Dont like to spend my lable colors on stuff like TAG or LAG cuz those stuff i got it from my HUD, i like to use lable systems to give me some sort of read on the player tendencies my HUD dont show me so it will complement each other, cheers.

I downloaded Blackrain79s cash profile from www.blackrain79.com and I use the Lite version. Its great.

Although this is a great HUD config for microstakes i really liked one i saw on a RIO instructor (DJUNKELL)...

Obviously u wont need that many stats to beat microstakes but if you´re thinking about moving up in stakes think its better to get used to it before you start playing higher limits as you will be needing more stats
