I won much more money in cash game than the Tournaments game.
in the tournament you need to be unlucky for one time to get eliminated, and it can be is a critical moment and is the worst ways possible like to get Aces cracked or something like that, which is hurting too much!!!

I agree with you badia. Despite the allure of big money and the temptation that tournaments bring, they are not the best format of poker, no chance.

Cash games give us so much more control over our time, decisions, stakes, seat selection, the list goes on and on and on.

I've played both for many years, and I find that for excitement and for fans who love to watch tournaments are a better format. But more making a profit (and especially for making a LIVING playing this game) cash games are the best and it's not even close.

For anyone who wants to learn more about winning at cash games check http://gripsed.com/win

When I compare my hourly rate and my quality of life between cash games and tournaments, cash games are the hands down winner and I'm grateful everyday that I learned this format of poker first and didn't get sucked into the trap of tournament poker (not too badly at least anyway haha)

On the contrary, I prefer tournaments. In cash games, I usually just lost money. So I drew my own conclusions and stopped playing cash games.

I also often lose in cash, but I also win normally, but in the end I am in the same place. Therefore, just like you, I prefer MTT instead of cash games

Cash games are definitely the "safer" more steady option if you trust your skill and can beat the games. Tournaments have the allure of a big score but you need to be very lucky to win a tournament, even if you're the best player in the field. So cash games provide more consistent income while tournaments can provide stretches of no income at all or stretches of income that blows cash games out of the water.

I used to agree with the idea that cash games were easier with a better and more steady hourly rate but there are a few guys online that post results and stream everyday that put in sick amounts of tournament volume and are absolutely crushing. I think like anything, if you're able to put in that type of volume online and specialize, that you can probably be just as successful in either type of game. For me, personally. I'm a much better cash game player so it's not even close. But if I was putting in tons of study and hundreds of tourneys per week I think the same is attainable in cash vs tournaments. The variance CAN be substantially magnified though if you run bad when you get deep as the big scores from final tables and outright wins has such a huge impact on ROI and hourly rate in tournaments where in cash you can typically just re-buy and recover over time.

I understand what you mean, in tournaments only a cooler or a bad beat is enough to be left out. In the cash game you can buy back and it also takes less time than in tournaments

I think the answer to this question is very individual and depends on the personal qualities of each person. Many are successful in cash games, while for others tournaments are a place to make big money, especially live tournaments. I personally like both options.:)

Cash games are way better than mtts in my opinion. You can play how much you want, there's more post flop play and it's more of a 'pure' poker.

The tournament takes a lot of time, and in cash the main thing is to leave the table on time.:deal:

Cash games are much better than zoom. However for me MTTs are the way to go but very time consuming.

Really though the reason you can win more money in cash games is because you are taking on a greater risk and playing with more money. Say a table buyin is $100 you may top out on a few occasions and go through several buyins. Your value fluctuates with wins and losses. Therefore an increase in the variance of your bankroll.

Tournament play I feel is a more stable option because your chip stack is worth whatever you bought in with. That value does not change until ITM stages. May play a tournament for several hours on a fraction of what you could have in play for several hours at a cash game table.

It is just a preference. Whatever you feel more comfortable with. I've watched several people pull consistent profits on both formats. The key is finding a game you are profitable at and playing it.

I'm glad that you are doing well in this mode of the game but the truth is that I do better in tournaments is just knowing how to use strategy well

In cash, most hands are played between two or three players. Rarely are multi-pots for four or more poker players. Here the prize is received by one player, but according to the result of each distribution. That is, in order to win a hand, you most often need to beat only one opponent (becoming the best of two - "one of two") and sometimes two (becoming the best of three - "one of three").

Everyone wins, who lose?

I think that each player should determine for himself the direction that is unprofitable, draw conclusions for himself and immediately stop losing money. After all, in fact, each of us can create a bankroll by playing in freerolls, and not spend their own money on the game.

I started gambling not so recently and started looking for the best place to play. My friends are not very experienced in this matter and had to rely on their own strength. I started searching the internet for the best rated casinos. And I had to read a lot. On the site https://casinosnotongamstop.info/ all the available information and descriptions of all types of casinos and gambling, well, after a long search for where to play, I found my casino. Now gambling is my new love that brings me money. I don't use any strategies, I rely on my luck

I do play cash games too, especially when I'm signed into a big tournament which fails bringing me profits, so I play few hands on cash game which it gives me back the money I lost on the tournament. Of course this is a risky move, but can be very helpful:)
I also recommend Tempest!

This seems results oriented, since you exclusively compare what you have won in one case and another, and do not consider that their are totally different game formats and with diametrically opposite strategies. Therefore, I do not think the comparison you make is fair, when you refer to a specific tournament situation, but that is common in them, such as the fact of running well during its development and then the completion due for a cooler or bad beat, that It leaves you out of an important place.
You could say that cash games also have their less beautiful parts, just like tournaments. Like the fact of being exposed to losing a lot of money, if you do not have a super mental and technical discipline that allows you to face the great victories and the great defeats as well.
Greetings.

You have to study both modalities, I started with tournaments, now I'm studying cash games and I'm doing quite well, I hope to improve.
