Hello,

I wonder whats the best strategy here is, especially on Micro Limits. Do you guys cash it instantly out when you win a stack or do you let it accumulate itself? Sometimes I end up with 700BB and then Loose 300Bb in a bad beat vs another Large Stack or other way around.
What are you thoughts and Limits here?

Regards, Schrubbler

For me it depends on, how aggressive bankroll management I use. Its generally a good habit to not risk more than 5% of your bankroll in a single cash game hand. Sometimes I will take a calculated risk, if the table is really good. But if I just stacked the biggest fish, and he left, then maybe this is a good time for me to leave as well. Especially if some solid regs are also deep stacked and have position on me.

Bigger stack means, bigger winning potential vs other medium to large stacks. But of course it also means the possibility of a large loss if you mistakenly stack off and get it wrong. With deep stacks, regs will flat call more spec hands and weird connectors against your opening raises, hoping to smash the flop with a monster draw and huge implied odds. I do cash out of tables with a large stack if I think the regs in position have an edge on me. Otherwise I stay and continue against bad players with big stacks.

Honestly, it depends like Fundiver said. I don't necessarily look at my stack size, but at the table itself. If the table is profitable, then I'm going to stay there, regardless of my stack size, as I can win more from the fish.

It does put you in tricky spots with KK, but that's really it. If there are loads of fish at the table, you can avoid marginal spots against regs and still be profitable. Don't need to risk 150bb with QQ/JJ in a tough spot. Just fold, and wait until you can stack the 60/12/1 fish with top pair.

It again depend on your bankroll. And also if you honestly think, you are better or worse at 200-300BB poker than your average opponent. I dont play much Zoom, but for me personally I can do without those massive coolers, when for instance my second set runs into top set.
