Carbon is full of knits! This is ridiculus all I see in articals about beating micros is play tight value bet ect they will pay you off but these guys have got to be some of the tightest players on the planet! Maybe I am just ranting has anyone else seen this? I here people saying they are raising 4x 5x pre and getting 3 callers on stars ect its A stretch to even get 1 caller on carbon does anyone else feel the same way?

Play at PKR. I raise premiums up huge like 6-8x BB and still 2-3 callers. Sure thats an exploitable play, but the level of retardation is high its tilt worthy at times.

They just REALLY want to see a flop lmao.

Yeah, but are they sweaters, or socks:confused: . Seriously, if you are getting no action on your raises, just raise more frequently and steal all day long. Once they do start calling/playing back at you; you need to tighten-up some, though.

i have noticed the same thing on carbon. even at the lowest stakes the games are pretty tight, but as rudy said... just raise more frequently and steal until they catch on

Believe me there are loose players, fish around until you find them.Code the nits so when you visit the table and find them leave and keep looking till a looser table appears.I use red for the nits and pale blue for the loose/passives and dark blue for the tight/passives.

The LAGs are the biggest problems.Tags in the hand stay out, the LAGs tend to lure you in then suck out by the river.

Oh man I'm missing CC. Just another week of this wretched holiday and I can come back to my spiritual home... and join in with the bitching on nits/luckboxes. Why are the micros so damn hard... WHY!? Arrrrggghhh.

There is a reason for it. It is difficult for US players to get money on and of any site, so they are much more protective of their funds.

Blame the UIGEA.

As said it really depends on table selection and gametime.

On weekdays between 2am and 2pm (ET) you'll find loads of LAGs and maniacs (bring on the Germans, Italians and Russians), same goes for the whole week-end (random recreational players).

Yah I got pretty frustrated playing nit vs nit at 4nl(which seems like it should never happen), but I found those nits are pretty much playing hit/miss post flop. Steal all day and cbet really small(half pot still has close to 45% success rate), besides they're too passive to hurt you much.

Yeah I play on PlayAces and agree that the merge cash games at 4NL are mostly nits and rocks. I have 5 fish tagged and colored that I try to hunt down but they log on rarely.

I just steal more small pots from them. Nit's don't fight back unless they've hit the flop the majority of the time and if a rock is in the pot I'm not playing to hard at it.
