CAP games

Hi, I have been recently playing CAP tables on pokerstars, I find the format very flexible and allows you to make some mistakes and recover without risking your whole stack.

What is your take on this format?

I think they're alright to play if you are being cautious. It makes it easier, I think, for multiple players to cap it by the river, because they basically have almost reached the cap by then. So I have found it is much harder to run double barrels and triple barrels usually seem pointless. Also, when you have the nuts or close to it, you can't make close to what you would have playing no cap. But yes, I find it helpful to play; I usually go to that or short when I play 6max/full ring. I play heads up 90% of the time anyway and I've never seen a cap on that (black chip poker). But I play at micros, soooooo
