Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am new to poker and am still struggling with what to do in the blinds facing a steal from the cutoff or button. Often I will just flat call in the blinds with AQ, KQ, KJ, 77+ though sometimes I will 3-bet if I think they are likely to call with worse.

How do you make the decision to either call or reraise in the blinds?

Thanks

What stats do you have on the stealers? I usually won't call. I'll raise the players who are trying to steal too often and let the tighter players have the blinds since I don't like to call and be out of position on the flop.

You can't fold the blinds all the time though. You're going to fold it even if the late pos guy makes a min raise? Generally I consider the style of the player who has raised, and if it's someone that's a loose cannon I try to call/raise and outplay him on the flop. If it's a tight player I'll generally fold to 3x bb or higher bet.
