What should I do when I have top cards like AK, AQ, KQ and I have not linked anything on the flop and an opponent who goes up a lot with position bet the size of the pot?

Need more information.
But I'm going to assume we are deep here. Although difficult to avoid floating pot sized bets OOP, unless we have good reads on our oppontents.
I like floating with hands that have good back draws. Like calling with AK on a T43dd board with Adkx. You need some back door equity to justify calling these pot sized bets. But I would be careful

I don't think I'd call here. If you do and the turn is a blank then what? If you hit is he going to pay you off? If you hit will his hand improve? If you miss I'm guessing his bet will be even bigger next time around. I think it's fold or raise (but be careful with skilled opponents if you chose the latter)

A lot of it depends on past performance and board texture. Even though you missed, does the board give you big draw opportunities, and is this opponent a consistent c-bettor or bettor in position. In some cases, you need to ask the question, and a raise is warranted. If he calls, you have some idea, but if he re-raises he may have a big hand and you can fold. If he seems to hit a lot of hands, just fold and wait for a better opportunity.

In this situation, of course you need to do the pass

In this situation, of course you need to do the pass. Except for the case when a very aggressive opponent is playing against you, and you often caught him on a bluff, then it makes sense to try to make a reis and look at his reaction. But this is when your stack is large enough to risk a certain amount, in order to check the opponent's bluff.

Tell me how the preflop was played please. I can help you here if I know how hard you played and they played preflop.

You should fold. Any draw to a hand that is not nuts must be discounted. A draw to just one pair shouldn't really be counted at all. 2:1 to chase 6 outs to top pair is a losing proposition.

If you got nothing linked on the flop fold is always a good decision despite how good your hand looks before the flop

Always call because you know you are the best player.
Yes, call and go all the way to the river and rebuy after that.

I would say fold

I think your best bet is to fold..Most likely, chances are that he/she limped in with lower cards and maybe caught something like 2 pr..or even trips..Even if theyre bluffing..it's sometimes safer to fold that way.

if you miss the flop with a-k or q-k some hand like that you can c-bet the flop if you have position, I would never just call with a hand like that, its either fold or raise.if someone comes over top of your c-bet be prepared to fold
