Im interested in knowing how members would play the following: im dealt king jack-the flop comes ace , ten, eight. after the flop, I c bet 3/4 of the pot. Villian raises 3x my c bet.
I feel vulnerable in this situation and then I fold. It seems to be happening to me quite often lately.
How do you counter the villian's raise?

You shouldn't c bet if it looks like it hit their range. Also you should understand the bet should make sense with your range a random 50 to 75% bet scream bluff. Also fold KJ and KJs in cash as it get you in way to much trouble.

Hello, stil370

You should not make a 0.75PSB bet on the flop, where there is a flush draw and a straight draw. If the flop was not a flush draw, then this bet looks good. Be sure to look at the opponent's AF.

I think if he often raises, then with a strong hand you need to bet 0.5PSB or 0.67PSB so that the probability of a raise is greater. It is also possible that you bet a continuation bet very often and your opponents see it.

P.S sorry for my English, I speak only Russian.:(

This is so game dependent and more information is needed, What stakes? How deep are the stacks? What is your table image? What was the specific action preflop? How big is the pot? What is your position? Is villain passive or aggressive? Live or online? Playing with HUD? Full ring or 6 max?

There are games where raising/c-betting this board with position is a great line and others where folding KJ pre makes sense. If you are playing this out of position, it is generally speaking a big leak.

In my opinion this is a normal fold, you have a straight draw with 4 outs to answer with a stake to raise on my was not by chance.

If he did not hit the flop, he should have played a check-fold with a straight draw? In my opinion, the draw must be played aggressively.
