Assuming you have enough bank -- Do you buy in at Cash tables with the minimum or maximum amount and why?

See so many players buying in with the minimum amount which limits their winnings IF they do win the hand .

Just looking for you input on how you buy in at cash tables and why?

look forward to your replies.

Thanks!

Depends if you think you're the best player on the table. I would match a fish's largest stack but never a pro's.

I always buy-in for the max. So that if I hit a hand I can get paid. Also, when I have started with the min-buy, I felt weak, with the big stacks attacking me right away.

If you have the bankroll for it you should always go for the max buy-in and top off whenever necessary, so you can maximize your profit on good hands and avoid being backed into a corner by bigger stacks.

I buy in for about the average amount. If it's 100 min to 200 max. I'll bring $150. IDK it just seems that works out best for me.

It depends on what strategy you use - BSS, MSS or SSS (I don't know whether it's still exists). There is a number of players who play using MSS, they buy 50BB and usually leave the table once they have doubled up. I personally play according BSS, I don't know much about MSS in cash games, so I ended up losing whole stack pretty quick whenever I tried to start with half stack  Not doing it anymore (although I'm not a cash player, I play it rather rarely and only in one room).

If the table is deep you're going to want to max buy in so you don't get bullied around and can maximize your profits when you make your hands.

Sometimes it is easier to play a short stack. If you are playing deep, you should be able to get rid of all the hands that might come in second best. Deep play needs different kind of playing skills.

An interesting question because if you are on all-in you win less, but on the other hand you lose less. I bring 60% max buy-in to the table. And if you feel confident and you are in the form of bold you can make a max buy-in

I have been successfully with min buy in as I play tight game at the beginning. I tend to shove preflop or at the flop and get callers as I’m new to the table. Then Play more aggro and looser when deeper stack

Normally buy in for max, but if your trying to move up one could buy in for less as to not be in uncomfortable spots.

It's not a question if you practice good BRM to always go for max cash in with autofill, why on earth do you wanna limit your winnings ?

Please try to be patient with peoples questions. Simply let them know it's not about BRM and they shouldn't limit their winnings.

There are no bad questions. We as a community need to do our best to build eachother up not tear eachother down. We are all at different points in our game and education of the game!
