2 things. I have a full tilt account and a pokerstars one. I am buying in soon and would like to know how much to buy in for if i wanted to comfortably play .01/.02 ring and up to 2.20 sitngos and the occasional tourney.

Thanks in advance for the bankroll advice. I want to make sure i get this right, since BR is so important

You will need a min. of $40 for both if you buy-in for $2 in the .01/.02 rings.

For 2$ NL, I'd bump it to like 60$. That crap can be pretty swingy since the players are so nuts.

well seeing as the players aren't as good, what limits would you suggest to begin with?

.01/.02 stakes, without a doubt. It doesn't matter how bad the players are, it's the variance you want to take into account. It shouldn't take you too long to move up because the players are so bad, but because there are so many bad players at the smallest stakes doesn't mean you should skip ahead a few levels. Within a short amount of time, you will find yourself moving ahead. Good luck to you.

Here's a bankroll chart that someone posted here a few months ago. Kudos to whoever made it. Follow it and you should be good.

Start out trying to beat the bad players. While they're not good, I have a feeling that you'll still learn a good amount playing 2$ NL.

Even at high stakes, exploiting fish will be your bread & butter. And at 2$ NL, everyone is a fish, so you should be good at that after a while.

yea thats a great chart... btw full tilt lowest limits are 0.05/0.1 blinds.. pokerstars are less... plus on full tilt.. min deposit is 50 dollars.. so yea id say put in 50 dollars and you get 50 free on your first deposit so you'd have $100.. that'd be comfortable and last you some time in the low limit games..

I've never deposited on full tilt but I was under the impression that you have to earn the 50$ through points?

full tilts stakes dont get that low and the min for the site is 50. pokerstars isnt better than fulltilt and i dont suggest playing there cause of the amount of luck on that site can make a person kill him or herself. and yet on full tilt, a lot of players cant even use the min of 50 and get to a lot of places...i personally suggest 200 but you need to be use to the site

I find that the .01/.02 game is more brutal than a $1- 9 player game.
most of the time I win about a buck- one time 4.50 . I have doubled my BR in the last week. my suggestion is- if you lose a third of you stack move to another table. to keep from going on tilt. be care full. and have fun

Lemly, try this link. I posted a similar thread and the information is very helpful. See you at full tilt poker.
