I just found the 9 player SNG on FT that is 275FTPs and is a sat. to the daily double A or B. If you win one of these then you can just unreg. from the tourny and bank a nice $12. To win in these sat. i find it much easier to be very aggressive in the beggining making big reflop raises and then always cbetting the flop to try and build up a big stack and then slowing down in the middle letting other players get eliminated and then when the blinds are pretty high going back to be the most agressive one at the table. Another reason to slow down in the middle is because people still think you are agressive and when you do pick up that big hand they still have the image of you bluffing and you get paid off.

Are you certain you can unregister? I believe that if you gain your seat from a sat., you will not be able to unregister. I would look into this before playing just to be certain.

Some of the sats let you unregister and some won't. I think the ones that won't fore warn you before you make the entry final that the prize must be accepted as awarded. The $2 X36 seater for $50+$5 super sat to the FTOPS tourney allows you to back out and get the entry cash minus 5% ( I think it's 5%). I've won a 50 +5 and couldn't play the tourney so cashed in the ticket.Good return on the $2 investment.

You don't have to switch the 'tourney dollars' into cash dollars on the site. You can just draw from tourney dollars for any games you choose to enter (ie. sngs, mtts, etc.). Then the money you win from those games is 'cash', so there's really no point to swapping 'tourney dollars' for 'cash dollars' and losing the 5% on the exchange (unless you're choosing to withdrawl the funds or to use it on cash tables).
Every satellite I've entered and won in, I've always been able to 'unregister' from the tournament on Fulltilt,.. BUT I have never done so with FTP's so couldn't tell you about that one (I use them for FTP mtt satellites then if I win more I buy Fulltilt clothing with them... good for gifts also).
I'm not sure how it works on Stars. My account there is way down from where it used to be but not from losing as I've actually been running a +ROI on there but play very rarely there. I transferred out the majority of my account to friends who were wishing to play on Stars and didn't have means to make a deposit. It's left me now to where I don't have enough in my account to back me in the mtt buyins I'd prefer to be playing as I don't have patience or desire to play in the super micro mtts of $5 & under (or $10 & under really).
I'm not sure how the satellites work on Stars and if one is able to 'unregister' from the tourney and then be able to use tourney dollars for buy-ins to other tourneys instead of just the one the satellite was specified for (ie. like the $2 mtt to the Sun$200K... I heard you could unregister and keep the T$'s but wrote support and they said I had to use it for the Sun$200K, which is just a huge donkfest in itself).
Can anyone tell me about how the setup works on Stars?
Tks.

why not try the 50 ftp 54 man sngs gettin 1st = 2500 FTPS for satellites. then try again and get another and you can get into big satellites that if u make it u get big cash like the 2500 = 350 dollars or so for the FTOPS event and for the 750k guaranteed and just cash out for 250 or how much ever is the 750k. better than building off with just 11 dollars what you think?
