I was watching a few podcasts from some highstakes grinders and noticed none went up through stakes playing zoom cash. I play zoom cash and it seems harder to move up in stakes due to swings.. would anyone recommend playing just ring games or is zoom the way to move up stakes? thanks

build bankroll

I would focus more on profits more than stakes initially. The pots can still get pretty hefty if you build them and keep a player with you.

build bankroll2

bankroll building as the wall of a house brick by brick, in our case, the cent for cent, dollar for dollar. Most importantly DISCIPLINE!

i deposited $50 on bet online over a week ago after fees i had $47.. i built it up to $58 and had a few swings even going back down to $48..

I'm currently at $53 and change.. playing 2plo , and 2nl 6 max.. sometimes full ring.

remember we can't have instant results, in this day of age everybody wants to be great overnight.. thats not how the world works, I'm just going to keep grinding, and when i feel ready to move up i will..

i personally would stick to ring games, and play the game.. as a cash game player its always rewarding to build up our pts, and spend it in a satellite or a tournament for a treat since we earned it :)

just played omaha for over a hour for a profit of .05 cents.. the streak continues just have to ride it out..

i feel through each game i play, i pickup on my past mistakes and can feel myself becoming a better player.. i want to look over on monday the hands i lost, and do some replays overall to see some mistakes.. I'm sure I'm bleeding chips thats eating my profit away..

just have to keep discipline and always keep learning, best of luck

I prefer ring games because table and seat selection are such an important part of winning.

Only tours???

Бай-ин: $0.50/$1.50/$0.20 USD
11009 игроков(а)
Общий призовой фонд: $22018.00 USD

StuffBar,

Вы заняли в турнире 44 место (place 44). Сумма в размере USD 14,53 зачислена на Ваш счет Stars.

So, 71,18-2,20 = 68,98 profit.
But - it's almost 7 hours of play.
And deep run isn't in every tour, my ITM is nearly 15%.

And cash - PLO2, 50 usd for 4k hands(nearly 8 hours, i play zoom).

Do you see some difference? :D

PS. Mail from stars on russian, just copied and edit a little.

Just throwing it out there, I don't have a ton of experience on zoom. I used to play Rush poker back on FT here and there though but I'll share my experience with building bankrolls...

3 times I've built a decent BR and I did it three different ways (SNGs, 6-max cash, fr cash). My best advice based on my exp, is that there is no right way to build a bankroll (as far as a specific game). I think the most important one is playing a game that u feel u have the best edge. Imo fishes dominated SNGs back in the day but the volume isn't what it used to be. Currently, I think the softest, most profitable games, are 6 max NLHE cash games and MTTs. This can be highly site dependent though I think. I say play a lot of different games and see which one (after weeks or months of playing) u feel are easiest.
