I agree with you, when we see shows on TV like WPT, WSOP
, Poker after Dark, with many pros winning million of dollars, and there are always a couple of unknown players, who won their seat with an online satellite, and who go quite far in the tournament, sometimes at a final table, and win a big amount of dollars.
So, everyone thinks he can also play well and win a lot of money playing poker.
But people that really wins at poker are playing since decades. They have read hundred of books, they don't need any software, as they know most of the odds
And, unless you really earn a lot of money by playing poker, I'm not so sure that people who play poker 7 days a week, to earn the equivalent of a regular job, find poker so fun anymore.
So, maybe you should just see poker as a recreative game, and be happy when sometimes you make a big win.
But trying to live by poker will require a lot of patience and efforts I guess...
