You can really build up money when you play the .05/.10 no limit holdem tables. That's how I get money to enter tourneys. LOL:p

you guys change/adopt a certain strategy when playing the .05/.10 cent tables? I use to do terrible (first time playing ring money games) and as of late am always making a profit, but it's a bad profit. If I were to play all day, at the rate I seem to be going i'd make anywhere from 2-10 dollars on the day, most likely in the lower range. I try to play tight but loose when I have something or am in great position.

Yeah. I do the same deal.... I'll grind out a nice bankroll, then lose it all at higher tables!

Started with zero

I started on a site called 24hpoker since gone to non US) with no money. I played their freerolls, won a few, played a few more, so on. And I have a long way to go to be good.

When they shut out US players, took $ to PSTARS. Been playing over a year now without paying a cent. You do have to be patient though.

+ you can follow Chris Ferguson on Full Tilt to get ideas on how to do it. He started a test with free rolls and is close to his $10,000 goal. Sorry, just found a site devoted to the Chris Ferguson Zero to Hero.

i've been playing in the .05/.10 tables and building a nice bankroll. Also played the $1 turbo tourney yesteday at FT and finished 4th of 772 for $65. staying with low stakes can pay off.
