As a relatively new player I have completely fallen in love with no limit hold em. Just wondering if i should try and branch out a bit into other games or stick with this until i get a good handle on it. The idea of omaha is kind of appealing to me but i don't know if it will just confuse me!

I like trying out new games for a change of pace myself. It's how I found out that I'm better at Limit Hold "Em and Razz than I am at No Limit. Since you can play for free anywhere, try out some new games. They may help you in your first choice/favorite game. (For example, Limit Hold "em has really helped my No Limit Game.)

Ultimate Bet has Triple Draw and Crazy Pineapple.
Full Tilt has Razz.
Almost every site has Stud and Omaha, both Regular and Hi/Low versions.

Have fun!

Stick with NLHE until you're more confident. Trying to learn the intricacies of two or more different games at the same time will just mess with your head.

Try limit hold'em, the game is slighly different, but it does help you with your NL game.

Dorkus has it spot on here. Do not try other games until you have properly learnt NL, trying to master more than one game is not the right way to go. You could practice Limit as some aspects of limit can help your NL game but do not try and start practicing omaha whilst still learning holdem.

I mostly play hold em. Sometimes when I'm having a bad day or just can't find a good table to play at, I'll turn to some of the other games.
