So into the wee hours right now I want to play some omicro omaha on Bovada but there are just no tables going so i decide to entertain myself with some limit micro holdem, well it was a nice change of pace and i was enjoying myself but then player #4 is running down the clock all the way on every turn, don't know what the story is, but he decides he is unhappy and wants to annoy the whole table. this goes on for so long and i remember that i read Bovada actually has a policy against this. first i tell him i will report, but he keeps doing it, so i call customer service and report it, give the table #, player #, who i am. CS says they will look into it right away, and i say please cuz this is the only micro limit table going and this guy has ruined it. i play 20 minutes more but i can't take anymore and nothing has been done. so i leave and as i am typing this it has been another 20 minutes and as i am about to post this the guy is still there doing it, i am watching the table. it is player #4 . 05/.10 limit holdem. i dont see what is the point of having a policy like this if you are not going to enforce it. it makes a lot of sense for Bovada to have this policy because the amount of available ring games they have is so slim and sometimes nothing. you only have one table and one player can just jack it up as he pleases and Bovada does nothing even though i went through all the freaking trouble of calling them will all the info. wtf you know.

MisterLongFace sounds like patience is a big leak in your game, might want to address this problem before it becomes a big problem. Good luck!

Having played on there the last couple of months, I get it. I've seen other players do this as well. It's like a child throwing a fit. Table selection is lean, so I would get irritated as well. I've noticed a lot of the players on Bovada are pretty angry. I've always paid attention to chat for any clues or tilt tells. I don't know if it's maybe because I've mostly played small stakes on there, and players at mid stakes and high stakes don't berate people quite as often. I'm not sure, but I've played on so many sites over the last 9 years it would make your head spin, and so far my opinion is that Bovada players are big whiners, and can be pretty shitty in the chat channels. With the clock being so long on Bovada compared to other sites, it could get quite annoying quickly. It's not so easy to say, get up and leave, because there's nowhere to go sometimes. :) FYI... what is going on with the formatting on CC. Mine is all messed up, buttons missing.

I guess his statement is I cant play poker but I can piss people off. I hit the tables with these jerks I just fire up a game of solitare or minesweep or any game for that matter for a distraction till they are done.

Realize that they cannot and will not do anything IMMEDIATELY! Hopefully, they banned the little cretian later. Then again, how would we know?

If you think this is bad, try sitting in a MTT and having a guy do it. It's really bad, you might as well forget making it into the money. The table you are at will be wayyyyy behind in chip counts compared to other tables. That has happened to me twice now, and It's just aggravating as hell. I take chip lead at table, only to get moved and find out i'm not even in top 25%.

Honestly, I don't know why they do not set a policy of automatic removal (several sites do) if you are "sat out" due to inactivity more than 3 times in a one hour period. Of course, then they would just fold at the last minute, so....

Thanks, hope I can return the favor

Not cool. Guess you never heard that refrain "When they came for the unionists, I did not speak up, I was not a unionist...." Google it, you might learn something important.

We should stick together as a community no matter the stakes. We stick with the micro guys, and when YOU have an issue at YOUR level, then you can count on support from them as well. I don't think Cards Chat is only for the high stake guys. Besides, AS IF you didn't start there once or play a few when down!

GET IT?

this one time this guy says to me, he says, he says uh there's no mayonnaise in ireland.

and im like, thinkin, im like, thinkin to myself, what the heck is this guy talkin about, no mayonaise in ireland? what does that have to do with anything?

so im thinkin, hey maybe he's tryin to be clever and sayin somethin totally meaningless to catch me off guard, so im like two can play that game eh, so yeah, so i says back, i says, yeah, i says hey man there's no ketchup in australia!

well he gives me this quizzical look like im totally off my nutter ya know, then he just walks away.

it wasnt until later that i realized what he really said was no man is an island. and the more i thought about it, i was like, you know what, it's really the truth you know.

Oh man, this.

These dickwads don't realize their "strategy" only serves to hurt the entire table and themselves.

Yes, but then again....

Oh man, this.

These dickwads don't realize their "strategy" only serves to hurt the entire table and themselves.

I had it happen again. Told the guy it was rude. He types into the chat:

"soroy, ima waz makin a drijk"

Thinking it was a joke, he later types in some more stuff, enough to make me realize, yes, drunk off his arse, spending 5.00 for a game he can hardly see, much less play.

Ao, weal, whctha gonba doe?

Yeah I play a lot on Bovada, it happens a decent amount. When it's consistent, I just get up and leave. I realize I really only play small stakes NL holdem, and there's usually a ton of tables going.

For what it's worth, people don't decide to do this 'just for fun'. They do it because they get irritated themselves, usually by what people say in the chat boxes. As ridiculous as that is, I try to avoid talking in the chat boxes. It's just not worth it. Most people on bovada are stupid and just whining a ton, they are unreasonable and usually bad players.

Now, as a couple people above me mentioned, I absolutely monitor the chat boxes like crazy. People aren't scared about letting the table know they are tilted in the small stakes NL games at Bovada, and when they come out, just wait until they decide to ship it all in with middle pair (literally)
