Not certain where to put this post, but it relates to cash games and theory of how to play cash games so this is as good a place as any I guess.
I /think/ I've discovered a bot. I don't know how prevalent they are, but, well here's my evidence. If it's a real person (unlikely) then I think I can almost play perfectly against them. I've still got some more spots to fill in, I'll go check my db on him (I have getting on for 9k hands on him). These are simply my notes that I've made while playing 'him' at the table.
First off, he 24 tables 6max 25nl (woah!) and there is not much in the way of delay in his decision making.
He has played over 600k hands and is a massive loser (if you don't count bonuses/rakeback)
Check his graph attached.
If someone opens for less than 3BB and he's in the BB, he'll 3bet to 10BB and INSTAfold to a min raise A LOT ! (see example below from today in a hand with me).
PF: AI = AK, QQ+ regardless of villain.
F: donk = TPMK,set,2P, (made hand), if he checks BET because he'll fold 100%, if he calls cbet in a 3bet pot he has a monster draw or 2P+.
Also I've NEVER seen him make a move. He simply bets when he's got it and folds when he doesn't.
I know some of this is obvious, but really, can it be a 'real person' playing like this simply to eek out a (very) small bonus.
No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed)
Button ($11.22)
SB ($25.85)
BB ($26.11)
UTG ($27.77)
MP ($42.72)
Hero (CO) ($25)
Preflop: Hero is CO with A
, 2
2 folds, Hero bets $0.65, 2 folds, BB raises $2.25, Hero raises $4.35, 1 fold
Total pot: $5.10
Results:
Hero had A
, 2
(nothing).
Outcome: Hero won $7.60
