Hey i have been reading HOH and really found out toruny's are not really my thing. i was wondering what books are more for like cash game NL holdem and maybe another book for Omaha. Or if there is a book that explains all the games for like HORSE or somthing.

Thanks Bulldog2782

The book you should probably read if you are interested in cash games is the super system by Doyle Brunson, it was written in 1977 i believe, but there's a new edition. In this book Brunson explains to you how he plays and give you a few tips to succes. Pleasetake notice that this book was written for high stakes poker players, i tryed to play the brunson way in micro limit cash games and in tournaments but it just doesn't work.

Even if you are a begginer to the game, read it anyway it's full of knowlledge.

Hellmuth's Play Poker like the Pros covers a lot of different games. A lot of it is Limit. It is all sound advice though.

That.

Also there are some Omaha books out there, but you really need to be careful of who the author is and do a little research on them and read some reviews before you go buy/read it (just as you'd do for any book, hopefully).
