Generally I like some evidence that i'm in front before shoving in 50bb. Any pair in the BB and you are slightly behind for half a buy in and with no real idea if you are in front.
Absolutely no problem with flatting in position here with a strong hand like AQ, You could also 4bet 50bb is a fishy stack size at the micros. You won't win as much but it is lower variance.
Typical micros fish willing to call it down with 2nd pair
Mark him as a calling station for future reference and obviously no bluff barreling him.
Looking at his stats he is an obvious fish, once he decides he is going to play he will call any preflop raise so make it bigger to isolate him properly and avoid the blinds coming along. You want this guy heads up in position.
Make it 10bb min if you have a powerhouse like AK.
Lucky in the end to hit the river he is never going away with the overpair.
The 1bb turn bet is a sign he doesn't know what to do and/or is still trying to draw cheaply. I like the turn call against him here he clearly has something and you still only have ace high at this point. He is giving you perfect odds
to hang around so take them (small hand small pot). Trying to bluff these guys just doesn't work, you exploit their calling tendencies with punishing value bets like the previous hand.
Spot on, check fold or one barrel check fold. Not many hands but his stats are 'reg status' already.
lmao 71bb shove to win the blinds with A4...only at the micros.
SB is a nit, they dont like getting it in without the nuts. Always calling with KK here but expect to lose occasionally when an ace comes.
Against regs this is a 3 bet or fold spot, against fish I dont mind the call.
You played it passive and eventually hit a card.....difficult to put him on the straight but 2 pair is certainly likely.
Because fish are unpredictable you have to call down with top pair and sometimes you are going to lose one of these. ....KJ is the classic trouble hand even against fish....
I'm calling his silly little min raise only as its so small....., he only raises a good hand here, you are almost certainly behind. Hope for a flop and dont put in any more without a decent improvement.
