Hi! the fact im not a huge fan of 3betting the utg w ak and that i believe ep can flat ip w any part of a super strong range brought me to the conclusion that my 3betting range should be completely polarized. this doesnt mean anything of course its just me so i would like to share opinions. what is ur 3betting range against ep? is it merged,is it mixed what hands have proven most +ev? ive seen folks 3bet TT and looked interesting. looking forward to ur answers!

As a standard, I'd say polarized for sure. Between AA, KK, QQ about half the time, and the rest being A5s, A4s, and low pocket pair could work, and some suited connectors but that is better if you guys are deeper for the times that the UTG just flats. I'm assuming this is 6max btw?

The problem with merging your range is that if you 3 bet hands like TT and AQ, you will run into too many situations where your dominated betting for value but really your just gonna end up with the second best hand. And of course its player dependent so maybe when people are 3 betting 10s its because they have a read on the UTG raise I doubt they would 3 bet that vs an unknown

Man I really wouldn't recommend 3betting if your not sure you have the nuts man. I mean, the situations in which someone would 3bet any hand are verrrry slimmmm and have to be rare situations. Its like the opposite of 3checking. Checking 2 or 3 times is like telling your opponent you have nothing, which you could use to bluff occasionally, but it should only be in once and a while. 3 betting does the opposite, so maybe if your opponent is going on a draw... just maybe you can 3 bet. But i mean if the dudes on a draw and misses, your high card could still be good so If your last to act then no reason to bet at all.... it all depends.
