Hey all,
Just got back into online poker now that I live in norway and its legal here! Woo Woo.
Anyway, I just got done writing a very long wall of text post, upon hitting Submit the site prompted me that I was not logged in, in turn, you guessed it, it erased.
So being on posting-tilt I will make this short short.
I play on pokerstars and have started in cash game NL2 micro.
After blowin 20 bucks in excitement of bein able to play again in "higher*edit" nolimit tables, I have finally settled down and ready to take a more serious approach. Loaded up PokerTracker and its definitly assisted me in stabilizing my game. I have 2500 hands logged and manage to about dead even on money.
Stagnent. Stable, going nowhere.
Looking to take advantage of the knowledgable players on this forum, I would post data but I seem to recall a post saying that a larger pool of hands to look at is more appropriate?
Anyway, just putting my foot in the door here, thanks for your time.

Hi NorwayNewman and welcome from another Newbie! I joined the site a week ago and posted up data from around 1500 hands and the members here were very helpful. Yes, it is a very small sample but they are very knowledgeable that they were still able to see where I was going wrong... which was a lot!

Hope you'll get the halp you need. I've been doing so much better since getting help from the members here. :)

PS You may also be able to get some tips and learn from my mistakes on my "Advice for a Newbie" thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome Lawrelye.

So should I just copy the Details tab in PokerTracker and post it here? Or what is the norm? :)

Make sure you log in that you click on the "Save" box - that way you won't be logged out at all.

So which pages should I post from PokerTracker for analysis on my gameplay? Also, should I be just taking a screenshot of the "tab" showing the info or is their a different way to upload/emb

What I did was get a screenshot of the maximised bit of info - and then put it into a picture viewer (like Photoshop) and saved it as a jpeg. The default format that PT uses doesn't work too well on this forum - comes out too small.

Hope that helps!

Pokerstats 06172012graph
Pokerstats 06172012position
Pokerstats 06172012summary

I'm just guessing that these are the pages that I need to post for advice like lawrelye.
Appreciate any advice can get! Thanks.

Edit: woops cut off the key for the graph; green is amount won, blue is money won with showdown, red money won without showdown.

Hopefully someone will be along to give you some tips very soon. They were able to spot my problems immediately with similar graphs.

The other thing you can do is post Hand Histories of tricky hands or ones where you felt you played badly and get tips on what you should do again in a similar situation. There is a handconverter on this site somewhere that strips out the relevant info and removes the outcome so that advice is unbiased.

Suggest you post with a title that is more applicable - "Black Friday Refugee" does not tell anyone what you are looking for and is actually a header I skipped over until you asked in another thread and I hunted this down. I usually don't make that effort and I'm sure that is the same with others.
