Hi guys,
I've been breaking my head about poker over how much to bet for value against a fish or a tag. As i would love a discussion on the subject i'll make this thread easy tot quote and to give feedback to get a lot of comments. Please add your regular stake on the bottom of your post so we may get an overview about differences between stakes.
We play in position and always pfr
VS a fish
You have TPTK on a dry board :check or how much %pot
Tptk on a wet board : check or how much % pot
Fish donks the pot : call or raise
VS a regular
You have TPTK on a dry board :check or how much %pot
Tptk on a wet board : check or how much % pot
Reg donks the pot : call or raise
We play in position with a drawing hand (to nut straight or nut flush)
VS a fish
We have a FD (2suits board) : %pot
We have a SD ( open-ended) check or ℅pot
We have a FD AND a SD: %pot
VS a regular
We have a FD (2suits board) : %pot
We have a SD ( open-ended) check or ℅pot
We have a FD AND a SD: %pot
And i'll leave it here for the moment. We can discuss OOP, turn & river + 2pair/sets/overpair later don't forget to add your regular stakes !
Spoiler alert:
For the Players who read between the lines, how much do you bet against regs to keep them in the pot or do you bet high enough to take down the pot ? Do you vjeck TPTK to induce a bet on the turn on a dry board ?
Do you bet high against fish to let them make big mistakes or bet for thin value all the way tot the river ? And how do you end here ?
Looking forward to your comments!
Sincerely
Greedisgood
