I disagree. If villain is tight, then he is not calling you unless he has a very nice starting hand. Therefore, unless you have at least a set on a safe board, bet the hell out of it.
For example if you have 55 on a 953 rainbow board, yeah play it slow. But if it's QK5, bet bet bet!
I've seen players slow play AK or AQ or a flopped ace. Then when the other hand catches up and cleans them out, they call the other a 'donk.'
Against a tight guy, if you open up your aggression range more, then you're more likely to get action when you do have a strong hand. So that's the way to do it, not reduce your value bet sizing.
