Hey guys just a quick one. I've found that when open raising 4¢ I get a lot more calls from weaker hands than if I was too raise to 6¢. I've been doing this a lot now in the micro stakes and been crushing them for a while. Was wondering if anyone has come across the same thing or has a diffrent outlook on this topic if so please share

I have noticed this so I tend to bet 0.05 just to try and get the weak hands that will instantly call a min raise to possibly fold and also to be able to pick up blinds when my raise gets through. I also tend to bet higher from the button (0.07) to try and induce folds more often. But all in all a raise of 0.04 looks like you didn't think much about your hand and just clicked the raise button with any cards so people tend to call with a wider range but when it's 0.05 they see that as you've thought about your hand and made a raise size specifically for this hand. I dunno just my thoughts on the topic I hope it helps!

Try to make it x3.5 out of position , and x2 x2.5 in position , it works very well

When I play low stakes I open to 3x and add 1bb for every limp.

I have noticed the same thing. But I have also noticed that letting weak hands in because of a good price to speculate often ends up with weak hands getting pot committed to chase draws and getting their share of big payouts. Not saying that your strategy doesn't make sense, because you can build pots, but you can also weaken your equity by getting a lot of multi-way pots. But if it works for you, keep crushing it.

they plays a lot for implied odds
100bb are enough to see the flop a lot of times
they can't be eliminated
Study the standard after flop of each opponent to try discovery when they are betting for value or for bluff
play stronger hands than their
play in position

in my opinion its best to just make it 3bb from UTG-+3
and just 2,5bb from mid/ late position so you give youreself a better price for stealing the blind and when you have a strong holding you can still make it 3bb from LJ or HJ.
Its generally better if u dont min raise at all because the odds then are to good for the BB to fold.
