Ok so I have been thinking, wondering, and asking my self, what can you do in tough situations when your playing online.
For me there are alot of factors I consider when I say "being under the gun".
-You need to call or fold to at least a 6 BB raise.
-You have a good flop, with at least a pair, 50-60% runner up for win.
-There has already been a raised, passed you, of at least 3 BB, and it got re raised by another player, before you, so the initial better hasnt yet called or made a move on the reraise.
-One of the betters is a loose cannon.
-There is still at least 2 or 3 other players who can call the hand.
-Your stack is getting relativly low in the tournament and you need to make a move soon if you don't want to get eaten by the blinds.
I think we can all agree that this is a tough spot to be in, and it is the spots I seem to get in quite often, thus I am not sure I do the right thing, in fact, I don't really know whats the logical choice.
Calling is risky, because the initial better is a loose cannon, if his stack is low, he might go all-in, and you might not want to do the same.
Folding is fine, but you already commited pre-uflop and your getting low, plus you have good odds of winning.
Raising is useless because the loose cannon will call you what ever you do.
What in the world do I do?
