I was beating it while I had time to play in October and early November. The full ring is easier than the 6max for me. I have only played 5000
hands on that site. I was not winning JCHOOP like win rates, but beating it steadily. If I did not occasionally get froggy on the wrong table with a monster on another one, I would kill it.
The majority of players seemed to be pretty bad. Honestly, I get confused when I hear that micro stakes poker has gotten harder, or that it has evolved in recent years. If anything, it seems like I can read them easier than before.
I play about 17/12 average in full ring and focus on playing individual players rather than focusing on being TAG. I also tend to raise MORE with my best hands if there are alot of loose players behind me since I can get 1 or 2 callers pretty often, and I am ok with just picking up the blinds. I tended to play 3-6 tables (if there are 6 tables of FR going lol); never 6max. I will open limp occasionally, and I do mix up limping AA and KK into this with aggressive players behind me. Open raising 3-3.5bb most of the time and then C betting has been immensely profitable for me. So has raising limpers (with good hands). I have learned that folding early makes me more money than contesting pots vs better hands.
Ill change my player name again and put in a couple thousand hands over the Christmas break if I can, and Ill post the stats. That way they will all be under the same nickname and be coherent. (Finals next week and a full time job, plus 4 kids at home so I have no time to play now.) Hopefully I'll run average or better and be able to actually post something useful that helps you and me.
