BB/100

hi all,

whats a decent sample size for your BB/100 figure to be of any use. I´ve recently installed PokerTracker so am getting in to my stats a bit more.

I have a BB/100 of 12.98 over 8k+ hands which would suggest I´m doing ok but is this sample size of any use?

oh, and how about this for a sickening hand lol just wanted a little moan!

I recently asked a similar question, and the answer was basically 50K hands is an OK sample, but a lot more is better.

i went the lazy route and just asked the question instead if checking lol well lets hope variance doesnt bite me on the ass over the next 42K hands!!

haha fair point. ill be back in 40k+ hands moaning about about bad BRM!

I notice that you aren't using auto top up. This is actually a big leak since you're losing a lot of value if you have an edge over your opponents.

how can u tell i dont auto top up?? and how do you activate it? to be fair tho, i tend to leave the table if i drop below 4euro (after sitting down with 5), i leave and rebuy for that reason.

Tiny sample size. I had 20bb/100 over 10k hands. It's now around 4.11 in 43k hands. So you can see the variance. Wait until you have at least 100k hands to even begin looking at it for true BB/100 to be revealed. 100k is still really low.
