Does anyone else have this problem? I get my bankroll up to about R200,00 and just cant seem to get past that mark. Checking my bankroll history I keep getting to a max of R240,00 before hitting a down swing.

Over the past two months I have seen this trend 11 times!!!!!

Any advise / suggestions?

I play predominantly R0.5/R1 cash games and R5+.50 tourneys. Should I go to higher stakes games? 5% of R200 = R10 for SNG's.

PS sorry its in ZAR but sub $ fro R if u want (we wont comment on the exchange rate:mad:)

You should probably go to lower stakes, not higher, with that bankroll. At least in regards to the cash games.

Either way: Mental blocks, if this is not just a weird coincidence, are best avoided by ignoring them. So stop checking your bankroll and you won't know when you've passed the 200 mark or not.

Is this limit or no-limit?

no limit....there is only one limit table at R0.5/ R1 and I suck at limit anyways:D.

I do play at other sites as well but have started with small deposits ie full tilt and cd poker but I find them frustrating..... On bodog I'm doing good. Started from $0 (Read the Chris Ferguson Challenge and decided WTF) and am up to $18.20 but only play here when I'm on my A game.

Most likely it's not you or your game, it's the site!

They're not giong to let you go up over that limit because there's to much of a chance you're going to withdraw some of your winnings.

I have the same problem at one of the site I play. I made the mistake of withdrawing half the money I had there. This was more then two YEARS ago and I never got over that half mark again.

I tryed all the games available at that site, Omaha, O8, stud, HE limit and NL, trnys and S&Gs and nothing works. My last experiment is with limit HE, over the first 30 sessions ( one session is one hour max. ), my record is 4 to 1 on the winning side. And over the next 30, my record drop to 1 to 4.

An this is just typical for how things go for my game. How could a player be doing that good for some time and then drop to being so bad over a four week period? The only reason I could see is that they don't wont to let me take more money out!

At least, they don't get me low enough to kick me out of the site!:D
